As a trusted reseller of iiyama products, Stacked is excited to interview Lewis Clifford, the Sales and Marketing Manager at iiyama. From managing the promotion of products to UK and Ireland’s wider AV/IT channels to producing video content, Lewis’ role at iiyama is never boring.
In this interview, Lewis shares his thoughts on what’s hot and innovative in iiyama’s product portfolio, the company’s collaborative work culture, and AI’s impact on the industry.
Tell us a little bit about what you do...
I lead our Professional Displays category to promote our brand and products to the wider AV/IT channels in the UK & Ireland.
What do you love about your job?
I love the variety that my job brings, whether redesigning our showrooms, product development, commercial strategic planning, product demonstrating and producing our video content, my role at iiyama is never boring and there’s always something to get stuck into.
What’s the hottest thing in your solution or product portfolio today?
With such amazing depth in our product portfolio, it’s a little difficult to pinpoint one thing, but I would say within the Professional Displays category that the level of device management and control alongside our built-in digital signage capability means we really do have something very compelling for our customers who are managing multi-site estates.
What trends are shaping innovation in your company today?
Innovation in more environmentally friendly packaging, eco modes for displays to standby when not being used and general efficiencies in all aspects of how we communicate as remote working can be so much more productive now.
What do you think makes a great team?
Providing the platform and forum for everyone to put their thoughts and ideas on the table. Collaboration is at the heart of what we demonstrate on our products so it’s very important for us to work in a collaborative way as a team.
If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
That question is way too deep so I’ll just say my Son to see what it’s really like for him to be growing up in this day and age…
AI, friend or foe?
It feels like foe…although Chat GPT wrote all of these answers for me! Just kidding!
