As Head of Marketing at Vyta, I oversee marketing, brand and communications, working across multiple departments to create a cohesive brand presence. What do you love about your job?
One of the things I love most about my job is the opportunity to collaborate with people across the whole company. There’s something special about the buzz that comes from a completed project – whether it’s a news update, a PR campaign, or a new marketing initiative. The opportunity to engage in so many different aspects of the company, and to see the direct impact of our work, is something I find incredibly fulfilling.
What’s the hottest thing in your solution or product portfolio today?
We are committed to sustainability, and that’s reflected in the work we do for organisations, globally. One of the most exciting aspects of our service offering right now is our focus on carbon impact and the reporting we provide to help customers not only do the right thing with their old IT but track their carbon savings.
What trends are shaping innovation in your company today?
With the growing demand for more transparency and accountability around ESG goals, Vyta’s approach – helping businesses map out a clear path to achieve these objectives – sets us apart.
What do you think makes a great team?
When it comes to building a great team, communication and honesty are key. It’s about working together, supporting one another and being open to new ideas. That’s how we’re able to achieve so much with a smaller team, as everyone’s strengths are valued.
AI, friend or foe?
When it comes to AI, I see it as a friend, but the balance needs to be right. While AI is great for speeding up processes and handling repetitive tasks, there’s still nothing that can replace the authenticity of real human thought and emotion. So it depends with what you’re trying to get AI to replace or assist you!
