Sustainability

Devices are optimised during peak times and energy is conserved outside of these hours reducing the branches carbon footprint. All empty printer consumables are collected and recycled through the HP Planet Partner Program.

The Objective

Bray CU had 17 devices and four different device brands which were being managed under several supplier contracts. They wanted to optimise the number of suppliers, devices and brands and get a better understanding of who was printing what and why – so that they could reduce costs, increase efficiencies and simplify device and supplies management for the branch.

The Solution

We advised Bray Credit Union to retain their existing 10 HP devices which we would manage for them and we installed an additional 11 HP devices, with a range of features, each aligned to the needs of the particular area they were to be installed in.

The Reasoning

A lot of time was being spent managing the different providers and the different brands of devices along with all of the supplies. We knew that bringing all of the devices in under one contract and one brand would eliminate a big headache for the branch.

The Result

Bray Credit Union prints approximately 500,000 pages per year and with the Stacked / HP MPS solution they have achieved cost savings of 24% per year on previous volumes.

Bray Credit Union signed a 5-year service and maintenance contract for all 21 devices. Everything is now fully managed and maintained by the Stacked Service Delivery Team. This means fixed costs throughout the duration of the contract allowing for easier budgeting and forecasting as well as the complete peace of mind that comes with access to the Stacked remote printer fleet helpdesk.
