Arboretum wanted high quality screens and a user-friendly content management platform with the ability to be able to display different food and beverage offerings based on different times of the day – functionality which many traditional digital signage solutions lacked. As is the case with all digital signage projects for retail environments, it was also very important for Arboretum to have access to a responsive after sales service in case of any issues.
For this project Stacked installed three Phillips 65” digital menu board displays in Arboretum’s newly revamped café. The screens were mounted flat to the wall.
A NowSignage content management system (CMS) was also installed for Arboretum.
This scalable cloud-based digital signage software enables the user to manage both graphic and video content for any screen, anywhere, anytime. It can be accessed from any PC, laptop, or mobile device.
The user-friendly dashboard allows Arboretum to manage and update their content quickly and easily. They can display different menus at different times, schedule content weeks in advance and one user can manage the system either remotely on or offsite from any device.
This flexibility allows Arboretum to plan their marketing messages and food and beverage offers well in advance of any seasonal or sales requirements.
Automatically displaying a breakfast menu up until noon and a lunch menu in the afternoon also means that Arboretum’s customers are now being presented with consistent, relevant messages on food & beverage options and the offers available to them for a particular mealtime, which makes the entire experience better for them.
Arboretum wanted to make sure they worked with a company who were in a position to install a reliable and robust solution and to provide support in the event of any issues. Training and support are key features of Stacked’s Digital Signage Solutions.
Another benefit is the current and future potential to integrate the Stacked CMS with other platforms. It is currently possible to set up split displays which show a business’s main marketing message or menu as well as a live social media feed and even to tailor this feed based on specific key words or phrases related to a particular topic, campaign, or competition.
News feeds such as Sky News or Euro News can also be displayed on a split display as well as traffic updates for a particular area.
Development is constant on the platform, and it is getting smarter all the time. New integrations are being added and tweaked, based on customer feedback, both on the front end displays and also on the reporting and analytical capabilities of the software.
