Savings

Print speeds have increased from 36ppm to 75ppm. Less customer intervention and replenishment required due to increased toner levels – a 28% increase in black page yield and a 42% increase in colour yields.

HP Second Generation Page Wide devices have improved Print Speeds, Scanning Capabilities, Page Yields and Monthly Duty Cycles.

Stacked are currently supporting the printing of approximately 1 million pages per year.

The Objective

Allcare was coming to the end of their second 5-year contract with Stacked and their devices needed to be upgraded. Stacked put forward a new HP Managed Print proposal in June 2020 for Allcare’s renewal.

The objective on renewal was to refresh the existing solution with the next generation of HP A4 Page Wide Devices, to give the customer enhanced features and benefits around speed, document workflow and scanning.

The Solution

74 new HP A4 Multifunction printers were installed across the Allcare Pharmacy network in Ireland. HP PageWide business printers boast best-in-class total cost of ownership and fastest speeds, plus the world’s most secure printing and best-in-class energy efficiency.

The Reasoning

HP A4 Page Wide devices offer a perfect fit for a pharmacy environment and requirements because they are fast, reliable, and cost effective.

The Result

Before Stacked, Allcare had 126 devices across 11 different brands, spread over the Allcare network. This made their supplies replenishment process unnecessarily complicated. Moving to a Stacked MPS solution streamlined and simplified their printer fleet and the management processes as well as producing energy savings of 77%.
